Our partner project "An Ongoing Destruction:Refugee Women" which was accepted in Austria in the 2023-R1 period, was realised. We were in Vienna between 23 February-1 March. Partner countries Austria, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Latvia participated in the project.

This project, in which many enjoyable and awareness-raising activities were successfully carried out, provided valuable teachings to the participants. Through workshops, cultural exchange sessions, and interactive activities such as “Mixed Salad” and “Keep Your Balance,” participants developed skills in empathy, collaboration, and communication. Local engagement activities, such as disseminating informational brochures on refugee women’s challenges, helped bridge the gap between participants and the Austrian community, fostering mutual understanding and breaking down prejudices. By the project’s end, participants expressed improved cultural awareness, enhanced language and social skills, and a deepened commitment to social inclusion—showing the project’s success in creating meaningful, positive impact.

We were very happy to be actively involved in all the processes. We would like to thank all our partners, especially the host organisation, for sharing this experience with us. We wish that this partnership we have made will continue in new projects.
