‘Gift for a Life’ project was launched on 11 May in Aksaray, Turkey. Various organisations from Slovenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Greece, Spain, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey partnered in the project. This valuable project was realised with the aim of raising awareness and providing accurate information on organ donation.

The project aims to correct misinformation about organ donation and transplantation by encouraging an active role in society, especially among young people. Through the activities within the scope of the project, it is aimed to establish a link between people waiting for organ donation and the conscience of the society and to create examples of active citizenship by enabling young people to produce awareness-raising content with digital tools.

During the project, many important activities were carried out in the fields of education, awareness and social responsibility. One of these activities was street interviews with young people and local residents. During the interviews, common misconceptions about organ donation were brought to the agenda and an important step was taken to raise public awareness.

It was a great pleasure to take part in the project process and we are proud to be part of this valuable work. We would like to thank all our partners and participants. These steps we have taken together to raise awareness will have a lasting impact on organ donation in society. We would like to thank everyone who has participated in this journey with us and we look forward to future events.
